Bank Statements
The online accounting program mKsiegowa.pl offers extensive support for banks, cash, and other settlement accounts.
The concept of a settlement account in the program allows for expanded capabilities in accounting and reporting certain economic events. Settlement accounts are closely linked to specific accounts in the company’s Chart of Accounts, additionally allowing for:
- Accounting for foreign currency transactions
- Maintaining accurate settlements of sales and purchase documents
Accounting for bank and cash transactions fully supports multi-currency operations. The program allows data entry in various currencies, while all documents are accounted for in PLN. If the exchange rates are fetched from the exchange rate table, the rate from the previous day of the NBP is used for most transactions. Documents can also be entered with amounts in two currencies, and the program automatically accounts for exchange rate differences.
Entering Bank Statements
Bank statements and summaries of deposits and withdrawals from bank accounts are entered in the Accounting module.
Each line of the statement represents one accounting entry. We usually have four types of entries for each line of the statement:
- Payment/settlement of a sales document (Customer Payment)
- Payment/settlement of a purchase document (Supplier Payment)
- Other Deposits
- Other Payments
