Item Categories
The Item Categories screen allows you to define categories of goods, services and products. You can find it in the module Inventory or General Ledger (depending on the subscription version).
The division of Items into categories gives easier management in the online accounting program mKsiegowa.pl.
Additionally, categories allow you to define default numbers for the item entries belonging to the selected category. Default numbers are used when adding entries into the Items.
GTU indication
The default GTU indications assigned to a category make the program select it on the invoice in the Tax inquiry (if it is a VAT invoice) while entering a sales invoice and selecting an item entry marked with this category.
Editing item categories
- to modify the category parameters, use the icon
- to add a new category, fill in the form at the bottom of the screen and click Add New
- to delete a category, click
- you can set the default general ledger accounts used while creating a new category in System and General GL Setup, in the section Company Setup
- you can set parent categories by clicking on the icon of a magnifying glass
Addition to Price
You can define an addition to the price for each category of goods. In the program, you can calculate selling prices on the basis of the purchase prices.
The addition to the price for the category is summed up with the overall addition to price specified in Company Setup.
