In mKsiegowa.pl online accounting program you can create financial statement templates, such as balance sheets or profit and loss statements.
You can do it (assign accounts to a specific item in a statement) in the module General Ledger → Financial Statement Templates.
Statements previewing and printing
- profit and loss statement templates in Income Statement
- balance sheet statements in Balance Statement
You can add an item at the bottom of the table. For every item you assign:
- account groups from which values are calculated and displayed in the item
- sums and differences from other statement items
Editing and adding new statements
You can remove and edit lines, as well as move them up and down by means of icons on the right.
The icon
allows to edit the document line. After line modification, click on the icon
.
With the icons
you can move lines up and down against other lines.
There can be the following values in the Type column:
- Balance - there will be a balance in the chosen statement line
- Negative Balance - in the chosen statement line there will be a negative balance (that is a balance (Credit side) will be shown with a plus sign)
- Balance>0, otherwise 0 – the balance will be shown only in case if Debit side is higher than Credit side (usually it is used to show assets and costs)
- Negative Balance<0, otherwise 0 - the balance will be shown only in case if Credit side is higher than Debit side (usually it is used to show liabilities and revenues)
The style of the row can be:
- default - the row is printed with default font
- in accordance with a group level (1, 2 or 3); every group level determines a proper font on the printout
- hidden - the row won't be printed; it is placed in the template in order to calculate the values of other rows
Adding new rows is possible while editing a given row. Select the option "Subtotal" in the "Displayed value" column. To add or subtract rows, tick a box in the "+" or "-" column.
To save any changes in the statement template, click on the Save template button at the bottom of the page.
Notes:
- if the template type in the header is Balance Statement, the program allows users to select accounts groups of the Assets and Liabilities type
- if the template type in the header is Income Statement, the program allows users to select groups of the Revenues and Costs type in the statement items
