Export invoice
The online accounting program mKsiegowa.pl allows you to issue and book export invoices in a foreign currency and print them in English.
Select the invoice currency
You can set the contractor's currency in the Customers
Issue an export invoice
In order to be able to issue an export invoice, the tax group for a selected contractor should be set for:
- ‘Export/Import’ for export to countries that are not members of the European Union
- ‘Kontrahent UE’ (EU counterparty) for Intra-EU Supply of Goods or sale of services in the European Union
Note: the names of tax groups may be different, depending on the program settings.
Assign the contractor to the appropriate tax group
You can issue an invoice in a foreign currency, similarly to invoices in PLN. We enter the amounts on the invoice in the selected currency.
Currency rate
The invoice screen displays the customer's currency and the current exchange rate entered in the system. The currency rate is determined as follows:
- if the invoice is issued for a previously prepared delivery note, which specifies the date of sale or performance of the service, then the rate is taken on the day preceding the date of the delivery note
- if the invoice is issued without a prior delivery note, then the sale date is the same as the invoice issue date; the rate is taken on the day preceding the invoice issue date
Entry in the VAT inquiry
Export sales invoices are grouped on the Tax Report in a separate section called Abroad sales.
Export VAT Invoice Example
We have included an example of an export invoice issued in English. The language in which the invoice will be printed can be selected in the Customers. Currently, available languages are Polish and English.
'Reverse Charge' Note
The invoice may contain a note stating that the reverse charge is applied under the following conditions:
- the customer is a contractor from the EU
- the product or service selected on the invoice is in the VAT category of the type reverse charge
- the checkbox in the header of the invoice reverse charge is selected
