In the mKsiegowa.pl accounting program you can search all dimensions in the module Dimensions -> Dimension Inquiry.
You can use dimensions to settle projects or Activity Base Costing (ABC).
Dimension Inquiry
On the Dimension Inquiry screen, you can:
- control the balance of every dimension
- see the accountings related to this dimension
- see all documents building up the balance of the dimension
- make adjustments to the dimensions

Click on the number of the dimension to see accountings related to this dimension.
Notes:
- The view involves only the accountings in the given date range; the date range can be obviously changed
- Only the accountings within the open GL transactions are shown
- The value in the column Balance can differ from the balance for the dimension. This is due to the fact that the balance counts all records related to the given dimension. While in accountings summary, there are only the transaction within the given date range. You can check if the balances are correct by comparing them within a wide date range, which includes all accountings of this dimension.

Click on the icon 
if you want to see all accounting documents assigned to a given dimension.
Editing dimensions
By clicking on the icon 
, you can edit the dimension parameters:
- start and end date
- name
- type – if it is a dimension of first or second level
- memo
You can also re-open or close the dimension.
Re-opening and closing dimensions i
The program allow its users to re-open and close dimensions in order to facilitate management of a larger number of dimensions. You can do it by clicking on the icon.
Re-opening or closing dimension changes only the fact if a given dimension is shown on the Outstanding Dimensions screen.
On the Dimension Inquiry screen, you can filter dimensions using the checkbox Only Open.
